“From the Heart” was launched two years ago, and it has gained a number of faithful followers here in central Minnesota. It also has garnered some top awards from the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada. Last year, it was honored with first place for best group blog. This year it garnered second place for best publication blog. Here’s what one of the competition’s judges said:
“I have reviewed this blog for several years now and I enjoy it every time. I love the variety of posts from cooking recipes to inspirational messages to tips on bringing Catholicism into your everyday life. I think that this blog does a great job of capturing day-to-day life in Minnesota and captivating its intended audience. I like that they use photos and clip art throughout the blog posts to keep them bright and interesting.”
I hope you enjoy the blog and the new look. Kristi Anderson, multimedia journalist with The Visitor, does a superb job coordinating the posts and serving as the blog editor.
